Areas we cover

Porch builders across West London

We build porches throughout the boroughs of Hounslow, Ealing and Richmond upon Thames. Each area has its own housing, planning rules and porch styles.

HounslowTW3, TW4 and TW5 · London Borough of Hounslow

Hounslow's streets mix tight Victorian terraces near the town centre with wide inter-war roads around Lampton, Heston and Cranford. Many front doors open straight onto a short path, so a porch is often the simplest way to add a draught lobby, a place for coats and shoes, and a cleaner frontage.

EalingW5 and W13 · London Borough of Ealing

Ealing earned the name 'Queen of the Suburbs' for its Edwardian avenues, and much of W5 and W13 still has original tiled paths, stained glass and decorative timber. A new porch here has to respect that detail rather than compete with it.

BrentfordTW8 · London Borough of Hounslow

Brentford sits where the Grand Union Canal meets the Thames. Older streets near the High Street and Boston Manor have small Victorian cottages, while the riverside has newer townhouses with flat fronts and little shelter at the door.

IsleworthTW7 · London Borough of Hounslow

Isleworth runs from the riverside village of Old Isleworth up to the large inter-war estates around Spring Grove and Osterley. The housing changes street by street, so we design each porch around the house in front of us.

ChiswickW4 · London Borough of Hounslow

Chiswick has some of West London's best-kept period streets, from the red-brick terraces of Grove Park to the Arts and Crafts houses of Bedford Park. Buyers here notice the front of a house, and a well-made porch adds to its value.

TwickenhamTW1 and TW2 · London Borough of Richmond upon Thames

From the riverside around Twickenham Green and Strawberry Hill to the family roads of Whitton, Twickenham is mostly Edwardian and inter-war housing with generous front gardens. That leaves room for a full enclosed porch without crowding the path.

RichmondTW9 and TW10 · London Borough of Richmond upon Thames

Richmond's Georgian and Victorian streets around the Green, the Hill and Kew are among the most protected in London. A porch here is usually a heritage project, and the joinery, roofing and proportions have to be right.

FelthamTW13 and TW14 · London Borough of Hounslow

Feltham is mostly inter-war and post-war family housing, with many homes that were built without a porch. Close to Heathrow, these homes also gain a little extra noise and draught protection from an enclosed porch.

HanworthTW13 · London Borough of Hounslow

Hanworth's roads around Hanworth Park are largely inter-war and post-war semis with front gardens and driveways. Many owners want a porch for storage, a cleaner entrance and better heat retention.

SouthallUB1 and UB2 · London Borough of Ealing

Southall has long Edwardian terraces and inter-war semis, many with front doors close to the pavement. A porch gives a proper entrance hall and keeps cold air and street noise out of the house.

GreenfordUB6 · London Borough of Ealing

Greenford grew quickly in the 1930s, and many streets are still lined with semis built around the same time. Those houses suit a porch very well, and a good one makes a home stand out on a uniform street.

ActonW3 · London Borough of Ealing

Acton's terraces around Acton Town, South Acton and the Poets' Corner area are mostly Victorian and Edwardian, with inter-war houses further north. Many still have their original recessed doorways.
